How it works: For Parents
Finding a tutor
You can find a tutor by either browsing through our tutor list on our website, or by signing up to our tutoring management software tutorcruncher here, where you can also browse through a similar list of tutors. If you choose to contact a tutor through our website, once you fill in your contact details you will automatically receive an invite link to your email address which will enable you to sign up to our tutorcruncher platform. Whichever way you choose to find a tutor, you will have to sign up for a tutorcruncher account regardless because this is where you will be managing, booking and paying for lessons.
Within tutorcruncher, on the parent dashboard menu you can find tutors and book lessons via 'Book a lesson'
You can book a free meeting / lessons from a variety of slots pre-set by tutors according to their availability. Just click on a tutor profile you like and then click 'Book a lesson'. Recurring slots can easily be booked in for you by your tutor!
Lesson cancellation:

- Click 'Calendar' on the dashboard menu
- Select the lesson slot you wish to cancel
- Click 'More details'
- Click on 'Cancel booking'
Booking lessons

The initial meeting will be set up by teachmeschool based on the time and date you put into the initial contact form on the tutor profiles on our website or the lesson time you choose within tutorcruncher. This meeting will be free of charge and if you wish to book further lessons with the tutor please consult with them towards the end of the meeting so either you or the tutor can book in the lessons at the normal rate.

You can cancel lessons for free upto 3 hours in advance, however you will be charged the normal rate if you wish to cancel thereafter.

If you would like to reschedule a lesson, please cancel the lesson more than 3 hours in advance and request for a new lesson time within tutorcruncher.
Payments & Invoicing
After you sign up, you will have to add your card details in the 'Dashboard' section of your tutorcruncher profile. Payment is automatically deducted from this bank account within the day after you receive the invoice for the lesson. This invoice will be sent to the email address you have registered within tutorcruncher.
After you sign up for lessons, if you have any queries about the payments requested to your account, please email us at info@teachmeschool.co.uk.
You can add your card details in 'Dashboard' of your tutorcruncher parent profile. Payment will be automatically deducted from this bank account within the day after you receive your invoice.
You can create tutorcruncher accounts for your children by clicking 'My Students' on the parent dashboard menu and then clicking on 'Create New Student'
Signing Up your Child
Your child can have their own account so that they can login into it to view and join lessons . This means that you will not have to share account details with them in order for them to access lessons. Your child will also be able to upload any useful learning resources such as questions papers that they can store on their tutor cruncher account which they can access during lessons.
